Bowmore

Bowmore is the oldest legal whisky distillery in Scotland's Islay, established in 1779. Located in the heart of Islay, Bowmore is known for its unique smoky flavor and balanced taste. The distillery still maintains traditional production methods, including the use of its own malting house and the process of drying malt with peat. Bowmore's whiskies typically have a medium level of peatiness, with complex flavors such as sea salt, citrus, and floral notes. Bowmore's product line is rich, including various aged single malt whiskies, from the entry-level 12-year to rare 25-year and even older versions. Among them, Bowmore 18-year is regarded as a classic by many whisky enthusiasts.
