This 12-year-old single malt whiskey has been double barrel aged, using European oak and American oak casks to enhance the unique richness and toughness of Mortlach whiskey. characteristics that make it a legendary existence.

Mortlach, a legendary distillery with a strong sense of mystery, has been hailed as "The Beast of Duff Town" by the well-known whiskey expert Dave Broom because of its unique meaty flavor and mellow taste. "The Beast of Dufftown" was often used as the base liquor for top-grade blended whiskeys before the 20th century. Only a handful of whiskey connoisseurs were lucky enough to experience its aroma.

After repeated distillation like alchemy, it is finally blended with unknown mysterious proportions before it can be matured in barrels. This distillation process has been passed down from generation to generation, creating a taste of Mortlach 2.81 whiskey that is different from other distilleries in the Speyside area.
