It has been loved by people since 1938 (Showa 13). The cider is infused with apple brandy and slowly matured in brandy barrels, using some of the matured liquor. It features a soft sweetness and a deep finish. Brewed by NIKKA WHISKEY, it was a hot topic in early Japanese dramas! Production was transferred to the Aomori Prefecture factory in 1960 and is truly Aomori cider. To awaken the Showa aroma that has been aged in brandy barrels, it is best to use sparkling water, ginger ale or hot water. You can drink cocktails made with it in many restaurants and bars, and it can also be used to make desserts. Very suitable. In addition to hot water and soda water, grapefruit juice is also refreshing and delicious.
Written in Chinese characters is "日果". The predecessor of Nippon Whiskey is "Dainippon Juice Co., Ltd." The name comes from the fact that the company used to make products such as apple juice before the whiskey was matured and ready for sale. "Rigo Cider" was actually born earlier than Rigo's first whiskey.
