Macallan transports fresh American oak across thousands of miles to Spain, where it is traditionally handcrafted into oak barrels. After being seasoned with Oloroso sherry, these American oak sherry casks are sent back to the distillery in Scotland to mature new whisky for at least twelve years. The perfectly matured Spanish oak sherry casks and American oak sherry cask whisky are then blended to beautifully combine the enchanting characteristics of both sherry casks.

Aroma: Light notes of cream candy, caramel apple, ripe orange, vanilla, and fresh oak.
Palate: Ginger, nutmeg, and woody spices, accompanied by citrus, toffee, raisins, and oak resin.
Finish: A warm, sweet, and lingering oak aroma that stays for a long time.
