Nikka Yoichi Sherry & Sweet is a single malt whiskey originating from the famous Yoichi Distillery in Hokkaido, Japan. This whiskey is known for its unique flavour, with pronounced sherry cask maturation characteristics and sweet mouthfeel, providing a drinking experience of great depth and richness.

Yoichi Distillery is located in Hokkaido and is famous for its rich peat smoke flavor and strict traditional brewing methods. This Sherry & Sweet whiskey not only continues the classic characteristics of Yoichi whiskey, but also incorporates the maturation process in sherry barrels, allowing the liquor to absorb the sweetness and fruity aroma of sherry, forming a unique flavor combination.

Visually, it exhibits a deep amber color. On the nose, you can feel the sweet aroma brought by sherry barrels and the unique smoke and peat aroma of Yoshi. On the palate, this whiskey has a rich mouthfeel, with flavors of dried fruits and raisins, and a full and persistent taste.

As a special edition sold in limited quantities at Yoichi Distillery, it is not only sought after by whiskey lovers, but also the focus of collectors. There are five types of wine in this series. The malt whiskey part is called Key Malt Series. The three types are Peaty & Salty, Sherry & Sweety and Woody & Vanillic. The remaining two are Coffey Grain's. Woody & Mellow and Apple Brandy’s Fruity & Sweet. The purpose of Nikka's series is to showcase the different representative styles of its original whiskeys and to evolve them into ever-changing different styles.
