Matsui Shuzo was founded in 1910 in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. It has a history of 107 years. It initially started by making taro shochu. Since the water quality in Tottori Prefecture is one of the best in Japan, Matsui Shuzo began to develop another Liquor sales line. After taro shochu, we began to research whiskey. The research and development and improvement along the way created the good taste of Kurayoshi whiskey today. Kurayoshi whiskey is made from carefully selected whiskeys from northern Scotland and Japanese domestic distilled liquor technology. At the same time, it is brewed using Tottori Prefecture's abundant natural resources and natural spring water from the Oyama Mountains. "Kurayoshi 18-year-old single malt whiskey" has been matured in oak barrels for more than 18 years, blending a perfectly round and restrained flavor. The rich aroma blooms between the mouth and nose, and the taste is like an elegant gentleman.
