How to make Okinawa gin
Inspired by the tradition and culture of Okinawa , Masahiro Distillery decided to use the distillation technology of Awamori to brew local Gin liquor. Unlike Western stills, Masahiro uses 2 different single stills to distill the gin, creating a unique flavor not found elsewhere. On the basis of respecting the traditional technology of the South Island for more than 130 years, Gin wine is produced in an original way to this day.
Plants inspired by terroir
The customs and customs of Okinawa have always been the source of inspiration for Masahiro Winery. Okinawa is a southern island located between two oceans. The soil is rich in minerals. From a historical perspective, Okinawa is the intersection of East Asian cultures, so Okinawa's agricultural products are very rich. Against this background, the distillery combined juniper berries with five types of plants that express the customs and customs of Okinawa to create this Okinawa gin.
Smell: citrus aroma and freshness, derived from traditional Japanese rice wine.
