Miyagikyo Whiskey has a gorgeous and light flavor , through further maturation in Moscatel wine oak barrels produced in Portugal, the flavor level becomes richer and more varied. This maturation process gives the whiskey a fresh sweetness and a slightly bitter aroma of wood, which combine to create a harmonious taste. You can taste the fresh aroma reminiscent of honeydew melon, and the roasted aroma of the malt. These aromas blend perfectly with the flavors of the oak barrels to create a unique fruity aroma. The slight bitterness and sweet and rich aftertaste brought by the oak barrel are the signature features of this whiskey.
